Hello my name is Piers Michael. 

I am a Street Photographer based in Bangalore, India. I document life around me.  'My World, the Peoplle, the Places'.  

By profession I am a computer professional, I have worked in this field for over 30 years.

I am also on a journey discovering the world around me with my camera. My passion is photography. I especially love to photograph people and their emotions. I have photographed weddings in the past, but now I mostly photograph the streets around me in B&W. I shoot wide and up close. I enjoy capturing moments in time, and these memories are kept alive in my photographs. 

I always believe there should be a connection between the photographer and the photograph taken. This gives me an opportunity to capture people and their emotional responses to life and to  document their lives.

My phitographs are mostly in black and white. This challenges me to isolate my subjects using the environment light and other such things, it’s very rare that I use lens blur in my photographs. I currently shoot with a Canon EOS M50 and my cell phone and occasionally with a Sony A7

Apart from my interests in computers and photography I am a Catholic and I have a great personal relationship with my God, I find it invigorating to hear his voice and follow his example. It's a continuous challenge to understand his plan for my life, a challenge I accept and which has been fulfilling in more ways than one.
